Truly compassionate and overwhelmingly helpful.

Tonight we brought our sick dog in for her final trip. While the office was extremely busy, you would have thought we were the only ones here. I cannot put into words how exceptional the staff was with us, and how well they treated our beloved pet. For something they do all the time, you could see the compassion in every single team member. We have been with this vet for many years and cannot begin to say enough about them. Truly compassionate and overwhelmingly helpful in a very tough time for us.

Thank you for all you did and the detailed advice you have us. We left feeling like we did the right thing without pressure or grief. I wish there was an option for more stars, 5 doesn’t seem enough. Dr. Berman and every other doctor we dealt with here always had our dog's best interest at heart. They stay very busy, but have always been extremely helpful and loving.

Highly recommend taking your furry loved ones here!

I can not thank Dr. Schultz and the rest of the staff at Fort Washington Vet for the genuine care my cat has received the last two weeks! I received a prompt return phone call and had an appointment a few hours later. Dr. S. was so thorough and took the time to explain everything in detail regarding my cat's health. I highly recommend taking your furry loved ones here!

They’ve taken wonderful care of my pets for many years. EXCELLENT front office staff and believe me, that’s as important as an excellent vet. I’d have my dog or cat seen by any of the vets or techs there but our favorite vet is Dr. Jeff Berman

They instantly made me feel like family.

From the moment I made that call (simply from a google search), to the minute I walked in their door with my critically ill senior cat Ruby, they made me feel like family. The receptionist could not have been sweeter. Once we were brought into the exam room, everyone showed me so much empathy and kindness. I never felt rushed or alone throughout the entire process of making the hardest decision of my life. Dr. Schwartz and Colleen were amazing. I was ugly crying and I never once felt embarrassed. We hadn’t met before but they are my angels. They explained EVERYTHING and gave me all the time I needed to say goodbye to my girl.

The Universe led me to you and even though it was a horribly upsetting time, I could not have imagined going through it with a more outstanding group of people. Thank you from the bottom of my heart–I know Ruby appreciated how well you treated her and her mama in her final moments. I will be back soon with my healthy young fur babies.

This place is the best!

I just wanted to thank the amazing staff of Fort Washington Veterinary Hospital for their help with a lost dog we found today running in traffic on a very busy road. We have been bringing our own dog to Dr. Berman for the last twelve years and have always loved them. When the dog’s own vet couldn’t help us, I called Fort Washington and they told me to bring the dog right over and immediately looked up chip information, made phone calls, etc. The staff stayed right up until closing to help me find the dog’s owner. This place is the best and today I saw how much each and every one of the staff members truly care about animals. If you need a vet in the area, Fort Washington Veterinary Hospital is the place to go!!

The staff is awesome!

I travel about 35 minutes (with NO traffic) to take my dog and 2 cats to this vet. There are several local vets, but when you find a vet that you like, treats you right, but more importantly, takes care of your pet, it’s worth the drive. And, the staff is awesome!
